Seems like it, Todd -; IMHO these devices are already changing how we consume media and communicate with each other and with organizations. Talk about DMOs having to hire talent, I couldn't agree more but am not holding my breath as they all too often seem to prefer to inside road with the inevitable politics and delays that entails. A pity. Also, was disappointed to read the immediate negative reactions when the iPad was launched. Some people just can't seem to have an open mind to these developments. Same with Google Buzz. Not saying it's the greatest invention since sliced toast but panning it within a few hours of launch. Those must be some super smart people out there!

Hey Jeb, great minds think alike. I really see this new media consumption device making a big difference in the way people consume media. Part magazine, part web site.... but engaging and interactive like neither are.

DMO's and regional tourism associations of all sorts need to start thinking about hiring the talent that will be required to take advantage of emerging platforms for marketing.
