• Amen to that Joe. Absolutely. Travel companies and DMO's need to embrace Travel 2.0 and participate. New positions should be created like “resident blogger,” and “social media manager.” Perhaps one person can do both. I am finding that tourism businesses in Canada don't have a clue as to how to go about entering the arena.

  • Thanks, Jaime for the comments. It's not only Canadian industry but around the globe, it seems that doesn't seem to be interested in innovative new approaches to business. I guess when it's going well they think they don't have to and when it's bad they claim not to have the money for it. Can't win!
