    I know you know this better then any of us…tell the DMOs that they have great content, but their sites are too hard for consumers to find! We have started to help the DMOs with the process of being found; we have crawled and filtered several hundred already and are on our to doing so for several thousand.

    Re: pressure to generate revenues. We think the challenge for the genre of sites in the dream-learn-go stage of travel planning isn’t ‘monetizing’ customers, but is in getting those customers. With over $3 billion spend annually in travel lead generation, if dream-learn-go sites can get customers in and help them make decisions, monetizing through lead generation is the easy bit!
